Blackberry juice is very tasty and refreshing. However, it is not the best way to eat fruit. Nutritionist Dr. Marcella Garcez, Director and Professor of the Brazilian Association of Dietetics (ABRAN).

According to the doctor, a glass of fruit juice, even if it is 100% pure, contains much more sugar than a whole piece or a serving of fruit. Whole fruit is also more filling.

“Prioritize whole fruit over juice. Enjoy food: eat carefully to fully enjoy aroma, texture and flavor,” she concludes.
